With the new look into the new year!

Those of you who ran into maintenance page few times, must have thought something was up and yes it was.

Few weeks ago or so, I got a whole bunch of emails from all the top gurus promoting SqueezeTheme. I really liked the fact that it had a capability of adding “sales pages” using already coded templates. So all I would have to do is point, click and have a entire structure with images for my sales pages…now that would be a  NIIIICEEE thing.

I looked at it few times, and I knew what was coming if I decided to go for it.

I’m not an expert in all this WP and coding stuff, but God knows I love the challenge of it and I knew if I went for it, I’d be on it until I either rolled over dead or I figured it out.

Here is what happened next.

I knew going in that they all had “some, minor customization done”, but after I started rewriting the coding myself, I started to realizing that was no “minor” customization on any scale. When I inquired on them doing the “minor customization” I received an automated email saying those jobs run between $5-10K and if I’m still interested to let them know. Hm….no, that would not be something I’d be interested in!

I love what the template could be, but without the customization it’s just not getting me to where I want to be, so I asked for the refund.

Many have posted that they had issues even getting money back, but I still believe in good in people and hope that SqueezeTheme guys will make it right so I will give them few more days.

Update 01/07/2010: I got my refund late last night. I knew they would pull through. So you might take those “negative” rumors with a grain of salt ;-)

In the meantime, I came across this Flexiblity2 and really like it. I have not seen a template with so many flexibility in a long time. So far I’m just testing the free version so we’ll see if it ends up being a keeper.

I’d love to hear what you think about the new look, let me know below!
