The biggest question most people have is “How do I make money on Facebook?” The answer is: you don’t.
You make money when you move those people from Facebook over to your list.
For some of you this might be a strange thing to grasp. But that’s the way social media operates.
Remember in 7 Sins of Facebook Part 2 of 7 we talked about how social media platforms are not places to sell but places to build relationships?
You see, if for example you have a pay-per-click add, and you drive your traffic directly to a sale page, that works. But social media audience is NOT going to like being directed to a sales page, nor will they like being pitched at all the time.
So the trick to making money with Facebook is to build the relationships and move those people as fast as you can onto your list, where you will perform you “sales magic” and convert them from leads into sales.
If you have 5000 people on your list, and you’re making $10,000 a month, that means that your leads are worth $2 each whether they buy from you or not.
So the real question is: At $2 profit a lead, or whatever your numbers turn out to be, how many leads do you want and how fast will you bring them over to your list?
And that’s how it gets done.
