How to block all the Postcard posts on your Facebook profile/page wall
Postcard applications can be cute and people posting them on your wall don’t have bad intentions – most of them.
However, when that gets to be 5-6 of posts right after each other by a same person (too bad I deleted those yesterday before I decided to write this post I would have included images) and you have almost 5000 people to babysit on your pages, like in my case, that gets to be a bit annoying.
Now, yesterday I actually deleted bunch of people who I label as “repeat offenders”, because multiple posts thought the day or for days in a row in my eyes is a spam. When I visited their profiles, guess what? That is all they had on there. Tens and tens for postcards they’re sharing on their walls and then adding “friends” and posting those on friends’ profiles as well.
Not my cup of tea.
There are MORE then plenty of people on the internet wanting to be a part of your profiles who are wiling to play nicely. So there is NO need in my eyes to have to put up with those few who are ruining it for all others.
So that would be one strategy
.
For those who are just trying to be thoughtful, nice, or simply do not know what else to post or how else to get your attention, you might want to decide to keep them as friends but block the actual postcard application.
Here is how you can accomplish that:
Locate the application – look for the red circle with arrows around it on my image above. In this case because it was a “Blessings” application, it says “Blessings”, click on it and it will take you to Blessing’s page.
Where it says “Remove Block from this application” it will say “Block this application” (I have already done it on mine that’s why it’s asking if I wanted to remove mine)

Click on it, and you’re not going to be getting more of those.
Now, you still need to go back to your page and click on the “remove” button that shows on the right of that post if you actually want to remove it from your wall. But blocking the application should block all the new ones trying to be posted on your pages.
You have to do this for all applications showing up on your pages, but the good thing is, once you do that, you should be “postcard free”.
Do you like it? Not bad, ha? Know of another way of doing it, let me know…
