Who says you can’t network and have fun in The Woodlands Texas?

Several hundred of fun spirited residents of The Woodlands Texas, joined in for some fun, team building, and great networking this past weekend for the 11th Annual Dragon Boat Races.

It was my first time and I wasn’t too excited about it.

The morning was nasty looking.  Great overcast, the field where we were going to do the games was soaked with water and it all looked like one pot of mush. The humidity was at least 99.99%…and I had to get up at 6 AM to get ready on a Saturday morning.

That was not my style!

But in the end we ended up having a total blast. The games were loads of fun, the sun eventually came out, the BBQ was delicious, and the new-found friends were real pals.

The thing that really topped the cake for me was the races – I got the be the drummer!!!!

No, it was not because I’m such a great beat catcher either. I was actually told since I was pretty petite, I would not do much good rowing, so I was  ”awarded” the seat and the role of the drummer.

I don’t care how you look at it, I HAD FUN and few pics to prove it.
