If you’ve decided to include eNewsletter in your marketing efforts, here are

3 Things Your eNewsletter Campaign Must Have

1) Target Content

The newsletter must offer content that is of interest to that group of readers. People are being bombarded with hundreds of emails today with content to be read. How is your content standing out? The content has to be good enough to keep readers wanting to open your emails. Ultimately it is about creating useful content that solves problems and meets needs for people.

2) Delivery

I use Aweber to deliver my emails. However you can use pretty much any email newsletter service for the process I outline below as long as it allows you to set up an auto-responder or sequence of emails. Aweber has many really cool features including variety of newsletter templates you can choose from.

3) Easy and convenient unsubscribe feature

You can’t force anybody to read your newsletter. If they are not your real prospect, let them leave as soon as possible, so you can’t concentrate and work on those who are. It won’t do you any good to have a list of 5000 people when 4500 don’t ever read your stuff or has no relationship with you.

Don’t feel bad about people unsubscribing, but do use those statistics to help you tweak your newsletter and make appropriate adjustments.

Look for the patterns instead and try to figure out where you have a weak link.

Underestimated Power Of Newsletter

Now this is where the power of it all hits in a synergistic way.

The content you share through videos, articles, blogging, and such helps you establish yourself as an expert and a leader – this is where they get some serious interest in you and what you have to share.

But it’s not until they have actually expressed permission for you to send them your content, interact with them, and offer them tools and resources you might find would help them in search of a perfect home, that you will get to see your profits soar.

Permission is not a right, it’s an earned privilege, and so many people who are trying to market online falsely confuse the two.

A newsletter or a subscription to your content gives you a playing field where you and your systematic approach actually convert those prospects into happy and profitable customers.

This is where you can build upon the interest you have created in your earlier interaction with your prospects; and start converting it into a long-term interest.

You can do this through offering more valuable content, offering tools and resources that are in your affiliate library, and of course, the products you’ve created yourself.

This is what builds your greatest asset in your business: the relationship with your list….
