Is there a difference and which is more important?
Yes, there is a difference. A BIG difference. I have seen many; many people sign up under a 5-6-figure a month top producer and never got the mentoring they hoped for.
Face it, just because they are so successful, does not mean you will be too.
Many times they do not have time or resources to train their entire downline. And unfortunately many times they just don’t want to truly share with you all the knowledge they paid thousands of dollars for, and worked so hard for.
Don’t bet on your Sponsor. Pick a Mentor (a person, a book, a network community, or any other source of knowledge) that you can rely on and will help YOU relentlessly grow YOUR business and influence in this industry.
This is absolutely critical! In fact, I cannot stress this enough but let’s continue with secret #2…

#2:
It’s a numbers game, or IS IT?
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Yes – IF you don’t know what you’re doing. Wrong things = wrong results. And eventually, someday, somebody might buy your product or join your team, but that will not keep you in this internet marketing/MLM business.
Remember this: TO GET WHERE YOU’VE NEVER BEEN, YOU HAVE TO DO THINGS YOU’VE NEVER DONE.
Don’t listen to: “Just keep at it!”, “Don’t give up!”, “Keep plugging away!”, “It will happen, it’s a numbers game!” Unless you’re producing results you want, you do need to stop doing what you’re doing, find what’s causing the problem, and fix it.
If it means you need to read a few more books then read few more books. If it means you need to talk to a few more network marketers who have been in your place but figured it out, then go find them and talk to them. LEARN, ADJUST, AND OVERCOME. The only numbers you need to have in mind is your daily bank deposit amounts.
Just by knowing these first 2 things you’ll be way ahead of any of your competitors…but wait, there’s still more…

#3: How To Attract People
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Yes, this is a “people-biz”. You don’t necessarily have to like people, but you have to know people. You have to be able to very early in the conversation pick up on what makes this people tick:
What moves them? Pain? Pleasure? Are they trying to avoid something or are they after something?
How do they make decisions? Alone? Do they consult with someone? Do they have to sleep on it? Pray about it?
How do they intake their information? Are they Audio? Visual? Kinesthetic? You can talk to the visual till you’re blue in your face – it won’t click. The Visual has to SEE IT, the AUDIO has to hear it, and Kinesthetic has to FEEL it.
You have to have their trust and they have to see you as someone who can and is willing to help THEM reach THEIR goals.
It’s lot easier to attract people to you, then have to chase them, and then sell them on the idea to come join you.

#1 Reason Prospects Sign Up

What is the most important item in making a decision on joining a network marketing company?
1)Company itself?
2)Great Products?
3)Compensation plan?
Believe it or not, NONE OF THE ABOVE. It has been proven time and time again that, people don’t care as much about any of the three. Think about this: as one of the greatest network marketers said: “People do not buy a drill because they want drill, they buy drill because they want hole.”
As much you might think, people do not wake up one morning with the epiphany that they want to leave their careers to sell vitamins, juice, CDs, or DVDs for the rest of their lives. But they do wake up wanting better lives, no BOSS, no debt, less stress, more free time with family, more $$$, more control over their finances, etc.
If you can help them get there, they will join you in your venture. The Company, the Products, The Comp Plan are only tools to get them there. Those things are secondary.

Should You Buy Leads?

Buying leads can be a good thing, but it has its place and time in the evolution of your business. Buying leads can be a good thing if:
1) foremost, you have a reliable place to get them
2) you don’t mind making lots of calls
3) you’re good in closing people on the phone
4) you’re just starting your biz
5) to supplement your marketing leads in “off-season”
The most important thing to know is that you have to master ins and outs of marketing online and generating lots of free and low cost leads – eventually. Actually, the sooner, the better, or
you WILL BE LEAVING A LOT OF MONEY ON THE TABLE.

How Much Do You Really Need To Know?

Just because you spend hours and hours on the conference calls with your Upline, don’t think that is be-all and end-all when it comes to your education in this field.
To be a doctor, you go to school. For a very long time. To a lawyer, you go to school. To be a hairdresser, you go to school. You want to be bartender, you have to learn.
There is nothing out there that in this industry that does not require learning. And in actuality, it evolves every day. So your internet marketing education is NEVER over.
In order to be a successful network marketer you need to become a student of the trade. Read, listen, watch, attend every marketing related event you can lay your hands on or get access to. The more you know, the more ahead of the next guy you are, the more value you present, the more people will want to get sponsored by YOU.

When You Should NOT Start In Network Marketing?

Very early in my time in USA, I was exposed to numerous hours of management and sales training as well as countless hours of personal development.
In early 90s my father started a sales institute and I had a privilege to “hang out” and participate in conversations with CEOs, Presidents, VPs, Sales Managers, and some true “heavy-hitter” sales-pros. They all agreed on one thing: to be successful you cannot be in your endeavor with one foot and the other in your “old life”.
Now, that does mean you need to quit your job today, get divorced and turn the page. What it does mean is that you have to have an absolute mind commitment that this is what you want and you will accomplish.
If you keep turning back to look over your shoulder with a thought: “I can always go back to my 9-5 J-O-B.” You cannot stay completely focused on your business; and if you’re not committed and not focused it’s better you don’t even start your business.
You will end up frustrated, prospects are going to FEEL it, your bank account will shrink, and your family and friends will avoid to pick up the phone in a fear you will try to desperately sell them your products. You will end up in the NFL club. “no friends left and no funds left club.”
Make a decision you can do it, because so many people are doing it and living their dream life: EVERY DAY of the week. YOU CAN TOO.
Simply by knowing and applying these little-known secrets you’ll be 99% ahead of your competition.
